The company's Catering division has several contracts in hand and is operated by a labor force of well over 150. In Kuwait alone, our commercial central kitchen is designed for a minimum of 30,000 meals per day.

Our industrial catering division is designed to serve industries with large workforces. As synergistic partners with our clients, we shoulder the burden of meeting their daily needs, giving the personnel more time to concentrate on their business responsibilities.

As a natural extension of its catering expertise, GIFSC has successfully entered the more demanding task of Industrial and Institutional Catering, which involves large labor camps and catering to schools, colleges, and hospitals.

Having gained and applied successful methods of catering to a large number of students and patients under diverse conditions, GIFSC expanded its activities throughout the Middle East. They included operating cafeterias, sandwich bars, staff restaurants, etc., as well as providing special diet meals for patients. Its capabilities for providing tailor-made, cost-effective, and competent services are well known.

Dry & Cold Storage

Besides an Industrial-sized Dry Store of 680 Euro pallets capacity, GIFSC owns and operates a very large cold storage facility of 700 Euro pallet capacity at Sulaibiya for storage of imported frozen meat products and other chilled food items procured locally in Kuwait. In addition, a reasonably ample storage and distribution facility of a similar nature is available at GIFSC Central Kitchen storage area in Abu Fathera to cater to the needs of locations under the Central & Northern Areas.

Food is stored under prime hygienic standards and distributed to over 20 operating locations in Kuwait.

These facilities, approved by Kuwait Municipality, KIPIC, and US Government authorities and private agencies, can hold goods up to a volume of 500 MTs, including frozen, chilled, and dry goods. Goods are transported to different locations in suitably equipped vehicles owned by GIFSC and as required under QHSE regulations.

GIFSC also provides supermarket services at Residential Compounds, Labor Accommodation Camps, and Commissaries, including facilities for shelf stocking and inventory control of goods such as groceries, cosmetics, toiletries, beverages, etc., to meet client demands.
